Mark your calendars!  The 2015 CAA Annual Conference is scheduled for January 2-4 at the Westin Hotel in Westminster.  Keynote speaker for the meeting will be none other than current NAA Vice President Spanky Assiter along with NAA CEO Hannes Combest and benefit auction guru Janelle Taylor who will be bringing her “Bootcamp for Benefit Auctioneers” to town for a seminar after the conference has ended.  Plan now to attend the cutting edge workshops put on by these speakers and as a much sought after treat, an agent from the ATF will be on hand to discuss firearms sales by the auction method.

Enjoy visiting with sponsors of the event and get to know many of the auction centered suppliers who support the auction method.  Invite all your friends to Friday night’s Fun Auction which supports the CAA and many of it’s programs.  Then as an added bonus, be sure to attend and show support for your favorite auctioneers as they showcase their talent during the annual bid calling championship.  New this year will be a Kids auctioneering event for your children or grandchildren who want to try their hand at the microphone.  This special event is for children age 12 and under, but hold on to your hat!  There’s even a new “Junior” contest for those 13-18 years of age and a special time for past CAA Champions (1980-90) to once again get in front of the crowd and show ’em how it used to be done.
